GIFT

A woman goes to Italy to attend a 2-week, company training session. Her husband drives her to the airport and wishes her to have a goodtrip.
The wife answers : "Thank you honey, what would you like me to bring for you?"
The husband laughs and says: "An Italian girl !!!"
The woman kept quiet and left.
Two weeks later he picks her up in the airport and asks: "So, honey, howwas the trip?""Very good, thank you."
"And, what happened to my present?"
"Which present?" She asked.
"The one I asked for - an Italian girl!!"
"Oh, that" she said"Well, I did what I could, now we have to wait for few months to see ifit is a girl !!!"
Moral of the story: Don't tempt a woman, they are dangerously intelligent!

konfusions

confusions rule the world of words. because words are to be interpretted to make meanings. if i say A, someone else may assume it to be Z. if i say it indirectly, it can be misunderstood. if i say it for X, Y thinks it is for him.
it is the tragedy of language.
how i wish, we were just blessed with the faculty of feeling the right - intended meaning.
it takes a lot of courage to keep the faith, trust for someone when all that words (even actions)could point otherwise
i have been through this so many times,,, with dear friends, folks, ....

mrityuanjay

Oh Karna! the valiant warrior
Hark! as Krishna commands :
Cut through the haze now and
Let victory -
as she waits for you to claim her,
be your sweet companion.
Make her your faithful partner
and She will be an obedient wife to you
May the great blessings of glory be with you
Oh! the righteous one
May your dharma pay up now....
Stand up
for these are the times
for the promised redemption

what is a prayer?

prayer is fundamentally different from hankering- is it not?
say it and leave it...leave all thought
faith shall be like a scaffold to it

hankering should end, it must. its like a monster that raises its head again and again and again like the ten headed demon.
i know its this that is the root of pain as Buddha had concluded
sai nath the great master advised for
...sabuuree...aur shraddha
